An event to help parents become proactive in preventing their children from getting involved in drugs or alcohol. The Solanco School District is teaming up with the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center to offer a free program on April 29th at the high school. Pre-registration starts at 6:30p.m. The program will help parents identify more than 80 drug and alcohol indicators that will help them determine whether their children are at risk. Parents will be able to go through a mock bedroom to look for some of those indicators. The official program will cove Marijuana, inhalants, heroin, alcohol and prescription drugs. Child care will be available for all ages.
