Topic: Starlight and Time

Tonight we welcome back Mr. Charlie Liebert as our guest speaker. He will appear via Zoom and will give various perspectives on the question of how the Universe can be only thousands of years old while light seems to take billions of years to reach us from the distant cosmos.
Mr. Liebert believes in a young Earth because of what the Bible says,
but also wants to understand it using science. Three of the scientific explanations that have been offered pointing to a young Earth are
1) Decreasing the speed of light,
2) Creation with the appearance of age and
3) Young Earth Cosmology developed by Dr. R. Humphreys
