Local Pastor and Haitian Connection Network Director to Speak
On Thursday, March 28, at 1:30 p.m., Pastor Chezaire Dominique, originally fromHaiti, will be joining Kristen Hertzog, Executive Director of Haitian Connection Network (HCN), for a program at Fairmount Homes in Ephrata. The presentation will be held in the Crest View Gathering Room located at 1100 Farm Crest Drive on the east side of the Fairmount campus.
HCN, with offices located in Brownstown, is a local organization with a global outreach. The mission of HCN is to provide a safe facility in Haiti where Godly, qualified Haitian students can attend American based colleges online and earn degrees/diplomas/certifications along with a mentorship program. HCN helps students to obtain funding for their education and find gainful employment and paid internship opportunities upon graduation in an effort to help break the cycles of hopelessness in Haiti.
The event is free and open to the public, so come and hear first-hand the stories of Pastor Dominique and the Haitian students who have been the beneficiaries of this outreach located right in our own back yard.
