Native American Corn Husk Crafts

Go to the 1719 Hans Herr House on August 9, at 12-2 PM and learn how to make traditional Native American items out of corn husks. Using corn husks to make items for daily use is a traditional Native American activity. Uhma Ruth Py, Lenape, will teach students to make a corn husk doll, a traditional toy for Native children. Corn husks will also be used to fashion a bowl and mat. This class is open to adults and children over 12. Tickets can be reserved by visiting hansherr.org or (717) 464-4438
