The PUREhope Coffeehouse started in 2009 and since it’s conception the PUREhope Coffeehouse has donated over $5,500 to Abolition International and Blood:Water Mission.
The fifth annual PUREhope Coffeehouse is set for Saturday April 27, 2013 from 6:30-10 p.m. in the social room of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 240 Broad Street, Highspire. The evening will feature entertainment including an opening by local musician Paul Zavinsky who plays a variety of music including folk and rock; a closing by Seasons, a local band of siblings that play Celtic, folk, and original music; the Elizabethtown College Mixed Winds Ensemble; and friends. Admission is free but a donation gives you bottomless organic fair trade coffee (donated by St. Thomas Roasters), fair trade hot tea, fair trade hot chocolate, or cold drinks for the evening. Baked goods and snacks will be sold. The evening will also feature a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds from the evening will be divided evenly and given to the two organizations. (717)939-3492
