July 6, 2013

| Free

Why should educators and scientists be ridiculed, denied tenure and even fired for merely believing that there might be evidence for design in nature? Ben Stein stars in the  humorous docudrama “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed” (95 minutes) being screened at Saturday Cinema Saturday July 6th at  9:00, 11:40, 2:20.  A second feature “Icons of Evolution” (51 minutes) questions weather public school students are getting the whole truth about Darwin’s theory of evolution. This film shows at 8:00, 10:40, 1:20 and exposes the intolerance of administrators, school boards and the courts toward academic freedom and the undermining of “secular orthodoxy”.

Saturday Cinema is a non-profit independent mini-theater showing “politically incorrect” films that challenge the common presuppositions of the viewer while exposing the prevailing narratives of  academia and the media. Films are repeated on a continuous basis from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Refreshments are available and admission is free but seating is limited. A “Video and Book Lending Library” serve to reinforce the themes presented in the various films.
