Tommy’s Prayer is an event on November 3rd and 4th at 7 pm at Faith UMC in Hellam that will include a short film, live narration, live interpretive dance, live music and live painting.  The event revolves around a poem that was written in the early 1900′s.  We have wriiten a short film adaptation of the poem which also includes all the above interpretations.  The poem is about child abuse so we will have a free will offering for the Lehman Center which is an agency to help prevent child abuse.  The poem also includes hunger.  In lieu of a ticket price, we are asking for two or more cans to donate to our local food pantry.   1717-252-2539.
