“Understanding RA/DID and How the Church can Become a Safe Haven for Its Survivors” (and why this is relevant to your Church)

September 26, 2013 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

| free

In cooperation with several other local ministries, a free Pastor’s Symposium on RA/DID is being sponsored by Living Hope Counseling Center, Inc., a Lancaster County ministry working with survivors of RA.

The objectives of  the Symposium are to raise awareness and increase understanding of RA/DID; to inform area pastors of the prevalence of RA/DID in the Lancaster County area and introduce some of the local ministries working with RA survivors; and to provide resources and assistance for leadership and congregational education about RA/DID.

The Symposium includes: an introduction to RA and DID (2013 video); representatives from area ministries presenting various aspects of ministry to and treatment for survivors; a personal testimony of a healing journey; an involved pastor addressing pastoral concerns about congregational involvement in ministry; and a question and answer time with all presenters.

A free continental breakfast will be provided and there will be no offering nor any request for commitments of financial support.

Please RSVP to Living Hope Counseling Center (not the host church) by email as soon as possible.

Include Pastor’s name, Church Name, a phone number and email at which you can be reached.  A confirmation of registration will be emailed back to you.
