Released Time Bible program in Palmyra schools.

Released Time Bible program starting in two elementary schools in Palmyra.  Forge begins Wed., Sept 17  2:30 to 3:30 and Northside begins Thur., Sept 18th, 2:30 – 3:30.  Parents interested in their 3rd, 4th or 5th graders being part of the Bible program offered through Joyel Ministries should fill out an application available in the school.  Released Time is a legal program that allows school children to leave their classrooms once a week w/parental consent for one hour of Biblical instruction. more »

Commonly known as “Pennsylvania Dutch,” it is prevalent among Old Order Amish and Mennonite communities in Pennsylvania. As part of its fall group study offerings, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a biblically based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God’s way.
