As part of its fall group study offerings, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a biblically based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God’s way. The program will start on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and run each Wednesday for 10 weeks. The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society is giving you the chance to learn how to speak the Pennsylvania German Dialect! Commonly known as “Pennsylvania Dutch,” it is prevalent among Old Order Amish and Mennonite communities in Pennsylvania.
