Hands Across the Street Lunch Program
Hands Across the Street, a free lunch program operating within Columbia Presbyterian Church, has decided to serve nutritious lunches to school students over the summer months. The government Summer Food Service Program will re-imburse the price of meals, but support is still needed. Everyone can be involved! Money is needed to purchase equipment and food, but volunteers also play a key role. There are positions ranging from crossing guards, drivers, to people to simply hand out the food. There is also a need for for electrical work to be done in the Columbia Presbyterian Church where this will be taking place. Call 717-684-9444 with questions or to volunteer.
