Lifetree Cafe’ – “The Majesty and Mystery of Nature”
The program celebrates nature and considers how human interaction is impacting the environment at Zion United Methodist Church in York on May 28th from 6:30-7:30PM. The program includes a screening of the award-winning short film “Saving Valentina,” depicting the actual attempted rescue of a whale that was ensnared in a fishing net. Dallastown Area High School “Down and Dirty” Fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
DALLASTOWN AREA HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES DAHS Down and Dirty Fundraising Event on Thursday, May 30th starting at 2:30 p.m. at Dallastown Area High School Stadium in Dallastown to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation/Team Shad. All proceeds go to Team Shad and the CF Foundation. Team Shad is an organization of friends of Shad Murphy, son of DAHS teachers Rodger and Gwen Murphy. Shad was diagnosed with CF in 2004. Team Shad works in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 717-244-4021
