The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society is giving you the chance to learn how to speak the Pennsylvania German Dialect! Commonly known as “Pennsylvania Dutch,” it is prevalent among Old Order Amish and Mennonite communities in Pennsylvania. Financial Peace University

As part of its fall group study offerings, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a biblically based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God’s way. The program will start on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and run each Wednesday for 10 weeks. Dr. Marti MacCullough, distinguished professor emeritus at Cairn University, leads a three-part educational enrichment series exploring the “self”—looking at such topics as the problem in the culture, Biblical patterns and perspectives, and the plan that produces the best self-view using the best self-help book. Auction of Rare and Used Books
