Spirit of Freedom: Christian Intervention Program

The Spirit of Freedom is a Christian Intervention Program for the chemically dependent. Through the teaching of life skills and biblical principles, the Christian Intervention Program addresses and combats alcohol and drug addiction from a Christian view point. Overcoming addiction is not only possible, it is probable through Jesus Christ.  Classes are every Thursday night from 6pm to 7pm at The Praise Center, located at 3920 Farm Drive, York, Pennsylvania 17402. 2014 Celebrate Life Banquet

The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society is giving you the chance to learn how to speak the Pennsylvania German Dialect! Commonly known as “Pennsylvania Dutch,” it is prevalent among Old Order Amish and Mennonite communities in Pennsylvania. LBC Fall Charger Days

Guests from LBC will be in to share about their Fall Preview Days October 9 and 10.  There is no cost for high school students to attend.  Students will have an opportunity to experience life as a LBC student.  They may sleep in our dorm, go to chapel, sit in on a class as well as eat meals in our dining hall.   This is being held in conjunction with the David Crowder Concert http://www.lbc.edu

Financial Peace University

As part of its fall group study offerings, Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, a biblically based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God’s way. The program will start on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and run each Wednesday for 10 weeks.
