26 Hours of Compassion

March 25th, 2015

Join us today and tomorrow (March 25 & 26) as we seek to sponsor a new project in Guatemala that Lisa and I visited earlier this month.  Please click on the Compassion Banner at WJTL.com or call 866-392-3690. Your $38 a month will revolutionize the life of a very special child. Thank You.

I love what you are doing through the 26 hours of compassion, and I felt led to participate. For Lent, I gave gave up eating out – no restaurants, no convenience store coffee, no fast food… and I have saved a LOT of money doing so! I would much rather donate $38 to a child in need…I am fortunate to have food and coffee at home…there’s no need for me to purchase it elsewhere now! What you’re doing is AWESOME! God bless!

I have been so moved by WJTL over the last several months. God has moved to in so many ways. I have been listening to 26 hours of compassion and God was speaking to me to be a part of this, I am a single mom and my “baby and only child” is heading off to college in the fall. I feel God put this on my heart to add a member to our little family. I have sponsored Evelyn Olivia Sen Velasquez she is 8 years old and shares the exact same birthday as my son when I saw her picture and birthday I knew she was meant to become a part of our family. I just want to say how blessed I am feeling and so thankful for your radio station and all you do. May God Bless you all. I am so excited to begin this journey with Evelyn. I hope and pray perhaps to be able to go with you to meet her in couple years when you all take a trip back.
    God Bless you all.

I’m sure we can always sponsor with Compassion at any time but what time does this (WJTL) drive end today? Thank you.

My husband and I are so excited to have just completed the form online to sponsor our little guy! We can’t wait to see how God works in Jeferson’s life! It’s such an amazing privilege to be a part of this journey! WJTL thank you for your encouragement and for how you serve others! My husband and I are some what new to the listening area as both grew up north of Harrisburg. Jobs brought us to the Lancaster area and we are so blessed to have found you on the radio! Hehe we even enjoy kids cookie break on Saturdays…we sing along while we drive in the car running errands…and we don’t have any kids of our own yet 😀 So again, thank you for giving us this opportunity to sponsor a child and for your daily encouragement!

Nearly 10 years ago we brought my daughter home from Guatemala feeling blessed with the 4 year that God had brought into our lives. We are truly blessed and my family were so excited to be able to sponsor some of these children and give back to the country and its children to help the families grow in God and stay together. Thank you Compassion and WJTL for all you do for the community and for me every time I listen to your radio station. We look forward to the the journey of getting to know the kids and maybe being able to visit the program some day.

Goodness – I’ve been following your 26+ hours of Compassion, and it’s almost (but not quite – lol) been like enduring through labor as we all awaited the completion of sponsoring all of the kiddos at Cristo Viene Student Center in Guatelmala. Congratulations! I’m thankful our family can be a part!
