Join Lisa Landis and The Kids Cookie Break on Sat. May 11th from 9AM-Noon at Calvary Church in Lancaster for the Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services Walk For Life. SVPS’ Walk+ for Life is an invigorating way to join with believers from across Lancaster and Lebanon counties to uphold the sacredness of human life and raise funds for the ongoing work of the ministry. You can choose from two locations:
Lancaster – Calvary Church
Lebanon – South Hills Park
Additional highlights include:

EARTH DAY at SAHD SALVAGE CENTER in Columbia
Last Year 404 kids participated in the Rita’s Italian Ice Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle Passport program, with hands on learning about various initiatives,
ranging from solar, food waste composting and wind power to remelting
metal.
Over 2,600 pounds of cans were recycled!
Over $1500 was raised for the Columbia Food Bank, St Jude Hospital and
Food for the Poor through bake sale and Crafts for Causes sales.

KCB live from the Garden Spot Village Marathon & Relay
KCB live from Garden Spot Village adjacent to New Holland in north eastern Lancaster County.
The race starts by the Legacy Garden and travels east for about 2 miles. It then circles around west through the Amish farmlands at the foot of the Welsh Mountain for approximately 12 miles before looping back to campus. This is a run for everyone whether you are a beginner, experienced, leisure or competitive runner. There is plenty of space available for family, friends and spectators.
