FIVE FUN FREE FAMILY THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND!!! June 10, 11 and 12

5) Llama, Llama the storybook character from author Anna Dewdney’s books, will visit the Columbia Public Library tomorrow (Saturday, June 11) at 10am to kickoff this summer’s early reading program. Younger summertime learners will enjoy stories, crafts and learn where real llamas come from!

4) New Hope Church of God, Carlisle – Summer Carnival, tomorrow (Saturday) kicks off at 11 with games, prizes, Pastor Denny in the Dunk Tank, food and More. The Carnival will rap up with a concert by Phredd at 3:30pm. The church is located at 1250 Waggoners Gap Road in Carlisle. For more info visit phreddcentral.com

3) Steven Courtney+ the Suitcase Musicians in concert at Sovereign Stadium, tomorrow (Saturday, June 11) 11am – 2pm for the York County Public Libraries Summer Reading Kick-Off . Free concert at the Rev’s Stadium. For more info visit stevencourtney.com

2) The 12th Annual LCBC Motorsports Show & BBQ will be held from 9:00am to 2:00pm LCBC Manheim  tomorrow (Saturday, June 11)  This is a FREE activity. No cost to enter your car, truck, motorcycle, or whatever vehicle you have. Participants and visitors are eligible to win gifts and door prizes throughout the day. People Choice trophies in 19 classes and Best of Show will be awarded at the end of the day. Check out LCBCchurch.com

1) Hershey Christian School’s Touch-a-Truck event, tomorrow (Saturday, June 11) 10a-2p , featuring All kinds of vehicles including the Susquehanna Art Museum’s VanGo Museum on Wheels, Clown Around Town ice cream truck, the Hershey Trolley , sprint cars, tractors, fire trucks, a helicopter and more.  Also local mascots like the Senator’s Rascal, the Hershey Bear and the Reese’s Peanut Butter cup!     Thanks so much for the shout out for Touch a Truck, WJTL! Just to clarify, there is a nominal fee for people to attend. It’s $5 per person (ages 2 and up) to a family cap of $25. Included in the fee is a viewing of all the trucks, face painting, barrel rides, balloon animals, live music and more! Early entry starts at 9 a.m. for an admission of $10 per person, no cap.     Why is everything held so early on the Sabbath? I am not out of synagogue until after 2pm! 🙁

    I had a hard time finding the info. on the LCBC website for their auto show–I had more luck going too their facebook page. But thanks! I think we might check that out tomorrow!
