New Tunes at 9 Roundup

February 9th, 2012

Radio Friend Phil  – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup: New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.  This week on New Tunes at 9, we featured new music from, among others, Thousand Foot Krutch, Aaron Shust, Samestate and Jaci Velasquez, whose new project, “Diamond,” released on Tuesday. Also this week, I continued to play various tracks off Kari Jobe’s new project, “Where I Find You.” Incidentally, “Where I Find You” debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, and follows her 2008, self-titled debut. Kari says, “After singing about the importance of making time for intimate worship on my first album, I wanted to take the next step on ‘Where I Find You.’ These songs come from such an honest place of praising God for what He’s done—and what He’s continuing to do in our lives—because of his grace and goodness.” For more on Kari Jobe, go to http://karijobe.com/#!/ss:facebook You can connect with her on facebook and twitter, download her music and watch Kari perform an acoustic version of, “We Are,” a song Kari says is, “a song of commission for us as believers; to impact people’s lives in everything we do.”
