New Tunes at 9 Roundup

March 8th, 2012

Radio Friend Phil – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup: New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.   This week on New Tunes at 9, we featured new projects from Todd Agnew, Andy Cherry and Kutless. Kutless released “Believer” last week, their seventh full-length project on BEC Recodings. Believer follows their 2009 release, “It Is Well,” and continues to prove upon the band’s current mixture of hard-rock and worship music. (And this just in—”Believer” debuted this week at No. 36 on the Billboard 200.) The name Kutless was inspired by biblical scripture: Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Because of this verse, the band says, He took our cuts for us…leaving us ‘Kutless.’ To connect with Kutless on Facebook and twitter, access their iTunes store, you-tube page and more, go to http://www.kutless.com/
