New Tunes at 9 Roundup

December 1st, 2011

Radio Friend Phil – New Tunes at 9: one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.  Some of the new projects we featured this week on New Tunes at 9 were Hillsong, “Born Is The King” EP, The “Positively Christmas” compilation and  “One Silent Night-an FFH Christmas.” FFH is the Lancaster County-based vocal-pop group that first began as an a cappella group called Four For Harmony.  Fronted by the husband and wife team of Jeromy and Jennifer Deibler, the group scored an independent hit in 1998 on WJTL called “Big Fish,” then, subsequently released several projects on major labels. Fast forward to 2007: a pivotal and challenging year as FFH release “Worship in the Waiting,” Jeromy and Jennifer take a mission’s trip to Africa and then made the announcement to their fans that Jeromy had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.     Now, in 2011, comes the release of the fine new project, “One Silent Night-an FFH Christmas.” You can go to http://ffh.net/ to sample tracks off the project, view videos, read their blogs and more.
