New Tunes at 9 Roundup: Audio Adrenaline

September 5th, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) Audio Adrenaline is currently on their worldwide “Kings and Queens” tour. The veteran Christian band, best known for their hit songs “Big House” and “Ocean Floor,” disbanded in 2006, due to Mark Stuart’s continuous vocal challenges. After a six-year absence, the band reformed in 2012 with Kevin Max, formerly of DC Talk, as their new lead vocalist. Earlier this year, the band stopped by the Junction Center for a live Q&A session with WJTL listeners; Kevin Max spoke about the tour and making the new record, “Kings and Queens.” For more on “Kings & Queens,” and Audio Adrenaline, go to http://audioa.com/ You’ll find a link to stream the project, buy the disc, watch videos, search lyrics, and shop the band store. You can also learn about the Hands & Feet Project, founded by the band in 2004. Hands & Feet is dedicated to caring for orphaned children in the southern region of Haiti. (Listen for the new song, “King of the Comebacks,” this week, on WJTL.)
