NEW TUNES AT 9 ROUNDUP: BEBO NORMAN

October 25th, 2012

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup: New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL. Available this week are two new projects on BEC Recordings that come highly recommended: “Finding Our Way” by Hyland; and “Lights of Distant Cities,” from Bebo Norman.“ Bebo Norman is singer/songwriter from Columbus, Georgia. He’s been releasing music since his 1996 independent project, “Fabric of Verse.” His new record, “Lights of Distant Cities,” continues to affirm the strength of his songwriting skills, while recognizing some of his major influences: the legendary James Taylor and the relative newcomer, John Mayer. Bebo Norman has been quoted as saying, “I’m reminded that the God of the universe thinks my prayers are nothing less than stunning—simply because I am His.” Recently, Bebo Norman spoke to Kristi Leigh about life experiences and navigating the seasons of life. For more on Bebo Norman go to http://bebonorman.com/#!/ss:facebook ? You’ll find the iTunes store, connect on facebook and twitter, read his blog and much more.
