Radio Friend Phil – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup: New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.  New projects available now: “The Loudest Sound Ever Heard,” by the Choir; “Shooting Star EP,” from Owl City; and “A Thousand Little Things,” by Point of Grace. Available next Tuesday, June 19: “The Heartbeat,” by Bellarive. Bellarive is a six-piece worship-band, formed at church, in Orlando, Florida. Bellarive, which means “beautiful river,” has been drawing comparisons to David Crowder Band and Leeland. The 12-song project is available on Sparrow Records; Bellarive’s lead singer, Sean Curren, talked about the new single, “Taste Of Eternity.” For more on Bellarive, go to the band’s facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/bellarive you’ll find a video of the band rehearsing for their tour, debut tracks off the new record and more.

Dear Phil, I was hoping that you may have had the opportunity to listen to a cd that we sent a couple weeks ago. It is the band, “Under the Olive Trees” from Indianapolis, IN. As I mentioned in my note to you, it is a band our son formed while at Calvary Chapel Bible College and this is their first cd. Anyway, thanks for your time and consideration! Sincerely, Doug Maguire, Lebanon, PA.
