NEW TUNES AT 9 ROUNDUP: LINCOLN BREWSTER

November 29th, 2012

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup: New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL. New Christmas projects available now: “Peace on Earth” by North Point Christmas, “Bethlehem Skies EP” from Dara Maclean and “Joy to the World (A Christmas Collection),” from Lincoln Brewster. “Joy to the World (A Christmas Collection)” is the follow-up to Lincoln’s previous project, “Real Life”; it includes ten tracks, among them, the gorgeous instrumental entitled “Miraculum” and a duet with KJ-52 on the Christmas standard, “Little Drummer Boy.” Quick facts for you: Lincoln hails from Homer, Alaska, a small fishing town whose motto is, “the halibut fishing capital of the world.” “My Mom loved music and played with local bands,” he says. “She was the one who inspired my love for singing and playing musical instruments.” And speaking of instruments, Lincoln is an extremely gifted guitarist, so much so that he briefly played guitar with Steve Perry of Journey. After dedicating his life to Christ he is now known for writing anthems like “Today is the Day” and “Everlasting God.” For more on Lincoln Brewster, go to http://www.lincolnbrewster.com/. You can preview and download “Joy to the World (A Christmas Collection”), and connect to Lincoln’s you-tube and facebook pages.
