New Tunes at 9 Roundup: Manafest

October 31st, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) Manafest, whose real name is Christopher Greenwood, was a recent guest on New Tunes at 9. http://wjtl.com/listen/wjtl-casts/ (Manafest is currently promoting his new music project, “Fighter,” and the new book, “Fighter: Five Keys to Conquering Fear and Reaching Your Dreams.) In the book, Manafest conveys raw honesty, addresses the challenges and pitfalls of stardom, and writes about coming to terms with his father’s suicide, by stating, “When things got tough, he didn’t know how to handle it.” “Fighter” is broken down into seven chapters; the first five are devoted to, as the book indicates in its sub-title, the 5 keys to conquering fear and reaching your dreams. (The five keys are courage, perseverance, mindset, discipline and will power.)  For more on Manafest, his latest project “Fighter,” and the new book, “Fighter: Five Keys to Conquering Fear and Reaching Your Dreams,” go to http://www.manafest.ca/. You’ll find facebook, iTunes (with a link to download the “Fighter” audio book), videos, and more.
