New Tunes at 9 Roundup: Mark Schultz

May 2nd, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) Mark Schultz returns to town Friday night with Aaron Shust and Jonny Diaz. (The ‘All Things Possible’ tour makes a stop at Lancaster Bible College; tickets available at the door .) Mark Schultz is a gifted songwriter and piano player with a warm, inviting personality. Originally from Colby, Kansas, Mark moved to Nashville to pursue his musical ambitions while working as a youth pastor. He went on to record his first project, and became known for hits like “Letters from War,” “You Are a Child of Mine,” “Walking Her Home,” and “He’s My Son.” In addition to the current tour, Mark Schultz is preparing for a mission trip to Mexico in May; to learn more about the trip and how you can serve, go to http://markschultzmusic.com/. (And speaking of serving, the current tour is sponsored by Compassion International, the world’s largest Christian child development organization.)
