New Tunes at 9 Roundup: The Neverclaim

November 21st, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) The Neverclaim released their new, self-titled project, on September 24. (Last year, the six-piece band released their independent project, “Revival,” a record that contained the band’s first single, “My Soul Longs.”) The Neverclaim was formed several years ago by singer, songwriter and guitarist, Jeremiah Carlson; Carlson has been refining his skills as a youth pastor for Vancouver Vineyard.  Thus far, the new project has produced two singles: “One Truth, One Life,” and “Mighty Jesus.” At http://theneverclaim.com/, he recently posted, “What would you do when you feel like you have no control over your mind and every thought you have is dreadful?” Jeremiah was my guest last week on New Tunes at 9 http://wjtl.com/listen/wjtl-casts/and explained his comments, regarding his state of mind, and the new song, “Mighty Jesus.” For more on The Neverclaim, go to theneverclaim.com.
