New Tunes at 9 Roundup: VOTA

November 27th, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Happy Thanksgiving weekend! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) Bryan Olesen of VOTA was a recent guest on New Tunes at 9 http://wjtl.com/listen/wjtl-casts/: Bryan spoke about his full-time band, VOTA; his worship leading duties in Lincoln, Nebraska; his part-time gig as a guitarist with the Newsboys; and the Love Found Me Campaign, designed to fight human trafficking in Nepal. (To find out more and support the mission work of the campaign, go to https://lovefoundme.org/.)

The latest project from VOTA is called, “Love Found Me.” The record includes 2 excellent radio singles: “God of the Universe (featuring Peter Furler),” and “Lift Me Up,” which Bryan Olesen spoke about on New Tunes at 9.

For more on VOTA, go to http://www.votaband.com/. You’ll find the band’s you-tube page, and links to download “Love Found Me” on iTunes; plus, Amazon, Best Buy and Rhapsody.
