Nicole C. Mullen: Concert Memories and New Project

May 3rd, 2011

Radio Friend Phil – I vividly remember the first-time I ever saw Nicole C. Mullen perform live. I was in Nashville, TN, when I stood in a small banquet room where Nicole, surrounded by  a dozen or more children (from her mentor group for girls called “The Baby Girls Club”) sat calmly at a grand piano and performed her Dove-award winning hit, “Redeemer.” As the song neared its conclusion and the angelic voices continued to sing in unison, I found myself standing among dozens of other adults and weeping uncontrollably like a child. This was a beautiful moment indeed;  a night of music I will never forget. This week, Nicole C. Mullen returns with her ninth project, “Captivated,” the singer/songwriter’s first-ever worship album.
