Petra Fall Fest

Join our community on October 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Petra Church’s Annual Fall Fest! Fall Fest is our biggest community event, where our church family, neighbors, and community members are invited to come out and enjoy a day of free family fun! This year, we have carnival games, crafts, face painting, campfires, inflatables, and barrel train rides. A Preschool Patch will offer games and crafts designed specifically for younger children. New this year are some competitive yard games including archery tag, spike ball, and corn hole. Fall Fest will also feature live entertainment by Ryan and Friends and a few special tents dispersed throughout the event where free haircuts will be given, prizes will be awarded, and prayer by our prayer teams will be offered. There will be lots of food including hot chocolate, whoopie pies, popcorn, and french fries. You will also be able to roast hot dogs and make s’mores over the campfires. Chick-fil-A sandwiches will be available for purchase. Everything else is free! This very special fall event has something for everyone to enjoy! We hope to see you and your family at Fall Fest!

Servant Stage Company’s Monday Night Theatre Class- Dance with Lily Klees

Servant Stage offers weekly in-person, drop-in classes for all ages! Classes include dance, acting, improv, and more, with a variety of instructors.
Class Description for Monday, September 25
6:00-7:00pm – Dance Drop In – Ages 8-13
7:15-8:15pm – Dance Drop In – Ages 11-18

Class Description: Want to learn how to better express emotion through dance? Lily’s class will focus on fluid movements to connect strong and graceful choreography to music. This class is perfect for developing style for ballads and more lyrical songs. Join us for for some stretching and across-the-floor work before learning a combination that will let your body tell the story.
Instructor: Lily Klees is a local actress, dance teacher, and choreographer working out of Lancaster county. She is a graduate of the Sight and Sound Conservatory, and now currently works at Sight & Sound in the cast of “Moses.” Some of her most recent choreography credits include “Godspell” at Lancaster County Christian School, and “A Christmas Carol” at Family Life Ministries. Lily is so excited to get to dance with you!
All classes are Pay-What-You-Will and donations help support Servant Stage’s Youth Theatre program!

Class Description for Monday, September 11
6:00-7:00pm – Dance Drop In – Ages 8-13
7:15-8:15pm – Dance Drop In – Ages 11-18

Instructor: Lexi Fazzolari is a musical theatre actor and choreographer. Some of her favorite roles include Sandra in Big Fish, Marcy in I Love You Because, and Catherine in Proof. Her favorite choreography projects include American Idiot, Wild Party, and Mary Poppins. She is very excited to be teaching with Servant Stage again!
Class Desciption: Lexi is a professional musical theatre choreographer and performer. Her dance style ranges from jazz to rock to hip-hop, all with a focus on unique small movements and current Broadway stylings. Students should wear jazz shoes or sneakers for the class and are encouraged to bring water and ask lots of questions.
All classes are Pay-What-You-Will and donations help support Servant Stage’s Youth Theatre program!

Come out to Petra Church’s 14th Annual Cruise In at Petra on Sunday, July 30, from 1-4 p.m., rain or shine! Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day from these food trucks: New Holland Coffee Company, The Fry Shack, Hen House Grilling & BBQ, Walko Taco, Mr. Mini’s Donuts, and Lickity Split. Bring the whole family for music, door prizes, and an afternoon of fun!
