Carolyn Arends “Live From The Junction Center”

Multiple Dove-Award winning singer/songwriter, Carolyn Arends, has a new Christmas project out: “Christmas, The Story Of Stories“.  We’re pleased to announce that Carolyn Arends will be “Live From The Junction Center” this Saturday (December 6th) at 12:30PM. Tune in to hear her acoustic-style mini-concert live on WJTL! Those in attendance will enjoy lunch provided by The Apple Tree Family Restaurant in Lancaster and coffee from The Good Java Company.

If you want to attend this exclusive event, you’ve got to win your way onto our guest list. Sorensen “Live From The Junction Center”

Sorensen will be “Live From The Junction Center” on Thursday, October 30th at 7PM.  This husband & wife duo is made up of Jeremy Sorensen–former lead singer and pianist for the band Unsearchable Riches–and his singer/guitarist wife, Kimberly.  We’ve played some of their Christmas songs on WJTL and are currently charting their song “With You” from their new release, Songs Volume 1.

This “Live From The Junction Center” event will include a musical performance from Sorensen that will be broadcast live on WJTL.  A live studio audience will also enjoy it here in The Millen Room at The Junction Center.  Those who win their way into this event will enjoy dinner provided by Eby’s General Store in Martindale.  The menu includes wraps, veggies and dip and cookies!  Plus, we’ll serve coffee courtesy of The Good Java Company.

Crowder “Live From The Junction Center”

Crowder will be in the area this Friday to play a sold-out concert at LBC with Capital Kings and Ellie Holcomb.  Yep,  sold-out.  However…there’s one more chance for you to experience some measure of his music, vernacular eloquence, beard and sheer unpredictability: Crowder will be “Live From The Junction Center” on Friday afternoon, October 10th, at 3:30.  Crowder will present an acoustic-style mini-concert for a live studio audience, which WJTL will broadcast on air as it happens.  We’ll serve coffee courtesy of The Good Java Company and pumpkin desserts provided by Stauffer’s Of Kissel Hill.

Randy Stonehill “Live From The Junction Center”

Christian Music Hall Of Famer, Randy Stonehill, has been an important part of the industry for over 40 years.  He’s written over 800 songs, some of which may have really made an impact on your heart and life!  Randy is currently on the road, playing several local shows over the next couple of weeks.  Click here for tickets and info–or see his Facebook page.

Coming up this Friday, September 26th, Randy will be in concert at Elizabethtown Mennonite Church at 7PM.  (Admission is free; a love offering will be taken.)

If you like the louder side of WJTL, make sure your weekend plans include Some Sort Of Rock Show with John Staffieri on Sunday night from 8-10. This week’s playlist will feature Lecrae, Needtobreathe, Manic Drive, TFK and Lybecker, to name a few.   In fact, the band Lybecker will be “Live From The Junction Center” this coming Tuesday evening at 7:30! They’ll do an acoustic-style mini concert for a live studio audience and we’ll air it on WJTL. In addition to Good Java, we’ll serve Chips and Salsa from Chipotle in Lancaster, featuring guacamole and 4 kinds of salsa!  The Lancaster Chipotle is located on Fruitville Pike.

Marty Shaughnessy & The Stars Are Spies are former members of local bands The Rainchildren and The Innocence Mission. They’ll be “Live From The Junction Center” this Friday evening at 8:00 to play songs – old and new – in front of a live studio audience.  We’ll air it live on WJTL, but would like to give you a chance to be here for this exclusive event!

Jessa Anderson Live From The Junction Center

What better way to celebrate Street Week for Jessa Anderson‘s new release Whole than by seeing her “Live From The Junction Center”?!  Good news: you’ll have the chance to do just that.  Jessa will be here this Sunday, April 13th at 7PM.  She’ll play a mini-concert, including some songs from her new CD!  (We like the track “Idols”, which we currently play from time to time on New Tunes at 9.)

Glenn Kaiser (of Resurrection Band, Jesus People USA, Cornerstone Festival, Glenn Kaiser Band and Grrr Records) will return to the area for the 2013 Pennsylvania Cigar Box Guitar Festival in downtown York on Saturday, August 24th.  14 bands on 2 stages.  (Click here for details.)  Glenn closes out the fest at 5:00 PM.

While in town for that gig, Glenn Kaiser stop by WJTL for a “Live From The Junction Center” acoustic-style mini-concert at 9:00 PM on Saturday, August 24th.  We’ll serve sweet creations from Alerra Gourmet in Lititz and coffee courtesy of The Good Java Company.  Space is limited for this exclusive event, but you could win your way onto our guest list.  Tune in for lots of chances to win all day long on Winning Wednesday, August 21st.  (You’ll need to keep our number handy: 392-FM90.)
