The Extraordinary Give is happening NOW.  This is Lancaster’s biggest day of online giving, but you don’t have to be from Lancaster to donate to WJTL.  Over 400 Non-Profit Organizations are participating.  Your donations are stretched by  $500,000 from the Lancaster County Community Foundation and their sponsors. There are also special incentives and bonuses for organizations.  Last year you helped WJTL raise $180,033.

Five Fun Free Family Things To Do This Weekend – January 8-10, 2016

5 East Shore YMCA Health Fair, tomorrow (Saturday, January 9) beginning at 8am – North Front Street in Harrisburg. Free and open to the public. The event will include health screenings, over 25 health related vendors and healthy cooking Demonstrations and classes. More Info: 717-433-7500.

4 Saturday Lego Madness, tomorrow (Saturday, January 9) 10:30-11:30am at the New Cumberland Public Library. Children of all ages are invited to hear Mr. Tom Gross, from the Lions’ Club, read a story and then are encouraged to create a Lego piece that reflects the story. Legos are provided. 3 LaLaLuna, a new women’s vocal ensemble, Epiphany Concert at East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, Lancaster, Sunday (Jan 10) at 3pm with special guest singer/songwriter Daryl Snider. The concert is free but you are invited to help assemble hygiene kits for Mennonite Central Committee. LaLaLuna performs a mix of classical choral music and contemporary jazz and pop. 2 Experimental Finger Tapping Guitarist Alex Brubaker will perform at Emmaus Road Cafe, Lincoln Hwy East in Lancaster tomorrow (Saturday, January 9) at 7pm. Alex is known for his percussive finger style, live looping, multiple guitars, and fretboard experimentation. More Info: http://emmausroadcafe.org

1 100th Pennsylvania Farm Show – the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the nation, tomorrow and Sunday (January 9 & 10) 8am-9pm both days at The Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg. 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibits. The Farm Show is free, however there is a cost for parking. More Info: farmshow.state.pa.us
