5  The Lime Valley Mill Preservation Society of Willow Street’s 18th annual Christmas at Lime Valley Mill. The arts and crafts show is tonight, tomorrow and Sunday (November 27 through 29) at the historic mill – Lime Valley Road, Willow Street. Friday and Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday noon to 4 pm. 3 The Garden Spot Village Train Club annual model railroad open house tomorrow (Nov 28) 1:30-4pm at Garden Spot Village, S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. . The interactive exhibit includes an O-gauge display as well as an HO-gauge display with more than 600 feet of main line track, a talking Thomas the Tank Engine and wireless video-cam that offers an engineer’s-eye view of the HO layout . 5. 4th Annual Back To School Fun Day at Winterstown United Methodist Church near Felton (South of York) tomorrow (Saturday, August 15) from 10am-1pm.  Inflatable rides, games, wagon rides, face painting and food. Backpacks and school supplies will be given away while they last to all elementary and preschool children. The York Revolution mascot “Downtown” will be on hand. 1. Palmyra Public Library and Flightpath Sports Park will host an end of the summer party tomorrow (Saturday, August 15) from 9am-1pm at Palmyra Public Library and throughout Flightpath Sports. This is a wrap up celebration of the Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero has a Story”. Activities will include a Bounce House,superhero themed photo booth, crafts, games, face painting, and more. Chiques Church of the Brethren Family Fun Event, Sunday (August 9) at the church located Northwest of Manheim by Elizabethtown and Sunnyside Roads.  Children’s games start at 3:30 followed by a free picnic meal for everyone at 5pm.  Gospel group “Set Free” performs at 7pm. 4. Dauphin County Cultural Fest  tonight (Fri. August 7) from 4:30-10pm, 2nd & Market Sts in Center City Harrisburg. 5) New Cumberland Public Library Celebrate the Fourth of July event, on the  lawn, 1 Benjamin Plaza, New Cumberland, tomorrow (Sat July 4) beginning at 10:30am.  The New Cumberland Town Band will present a concert of patriotic music and show tunes. 4) East Petersburg Movie In The Park tomorrow ( Sat. July 4) From 8:30-10:15 at East Petersburg Community Park. After the movie, Lancaster Toyota will present an Indepenence Day Fireworks Display.

Zip Line Canopy Tour Preview for Youth Workers

If you’re a youth worker (pastor, staffer, volunteer), we have a special contest this week just for you!  Listen all day long Monday – Friday (April 21-25th) for your chance to attend a special Zip Line Canopy Tour Preview–just for youth workers–at Refreshing Mountain Retreat & Adventure Center in Northern Lancaster County.  The canopy tour features 7 zip lines spanning over 3,500 feet, along with 3 sky bridges.  The special preview event for youth workers is happening on Thursday, May 1st from 1-3 p.m.

-Please note, minimum weight for the zip lines is 60 lbs.; maximum weight is 280 lbs.
