I would love to submit my department at LGH. I work at Healthy Beginnings, a prenatal program for low income young women. We have an amazingly compassionate, caring, giving, self sacrificing and well educated staff of nurses and social workers who have dedicated their careers to helping these young girls through their domestic violence, substance abuse, housing/food crisis, completing GED’s, family and personal issue situations so they can deliver healthy and safe babies. Our team are so deserving of donuts, please add us to your weekly drawing and no matter what, we love WJTL and are so thankful you all are there to start our day out right!

Good Morning! I would love for my school – Carter & MacRae Elem. to be chosen for the coffee & donut treats! We are a close knit staff – working in a very unstable environment. Our building is across from the rescue mission in Lancaster. We work with many students from difficult and economically disadvantaged homes. However – ours is a building that thrives — not only as evidenced through our AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) goals – but also in lack of – staff turn over. We are a family — working together to provide a consistent and high quality education for the kids we love and serve. I would be honored to be able to contribute a fun snack as a way to encourage my fellow educators!! (about 60 of us).

Hi, I work at Ebenezer Elem. in the Cornwall/Lebanon School District for the I.U.13 autistic support class. We have the priviledge of working with special needs children. Sometimes it’s challenging and difficult but the rewards far outweigh the difficulties. The special bond we have as educators and friends helps make this job so much easier. It would be terrific to be able to bless my fellow co-workers with a treat. There are about 10 of us in the both classrooms. Thank you for considering us! Be blessed this day and always.

I work at Alvernia University, in the Facilities area. Our crew works around the clock. I ask that you would bless this office with the “Wednesday Morning Doughnut Break”. I know it would be a witness to those who do not know know Christ, that someone on staff would care likes this for them. Sometimes, witnessing comes in the shape of a doughnut and a coffee cup. I pray that you would consider this very hard-working crew. In total, there are eighty but the day crew is about forty. Our night shift is around forty (a majority are hungry students! LOL!). 🙂
Praying that your ministry would continue to be a light in a dark world.
    In His Mighty Grip,
    A servant

Hi! I work at Lancaster County Wide Communications, the 911 center. We handle all emergency calls for Lancaster County including Police, Fire & Ambulance Dispatch. We are a very hard-working center that works every single day/hour of the year, including all holidays & weekends! Our Staff deals with a lot of diffucult calls & situations, that the power of Christ gives me personally the strength to overcome & be strong for other’s in their time of need. We would love to be selected for the Doughnut & Coffee Break!

Hi! I work at WBH in Couplet Care! We staff according to the needs of the unit. It would be wonderful to be able to have a quick coffee/donut break as many of us work 12 hour shifts and sometimes we are so busy we are lucky if we get a break. …and we no longer have coffee supplied on our unit so it would give us a boost for the day! It would be safe to supply enough for at least 25 people because we have a variety of persons working on our unit – nurses, pt. care assistants, housekeepers, dietary, volunteers, maintenance, managers, etc. We ALL work very hard to provide needed services for our moms and babies!

Good Evening, I am a member of the PA National Guard and work at Ft. Indiantown Gap. One of our coworkers is leaving 24 Feb. She has accepted a job at the VA and will be sorely missed. She is absolutely fabulous at her job as the budget analyst for our section keeping track of millions of dollars, not to mention several bosses! I think it would be awesome if she could be an office hero prior to her departure. We have a staff of approx 25 people. thank you for your consideration. Melanie
