WJTL will be broadcasting live from Hickory Falls Family Entertainment Center in Hanover on Saturday, June 15th for a benefit mini-golf event.
All proceeds from mini golf from Noon-2pm will be donated to Tender Care Pregnancy Services a non-profit organization serving the Hanover area with free, confidential pregnancy services and support. Chicken BBQ from Little Everett’s will be available for lunch.
WJTL’s appearance is made possible by Hickory Falls Family Entertainment Center also featuring laser tag, an indoor play area, water wars, an arcade and new this year…Go Karts!

WJTL is teaming with Bible League International to provide Bibles to those in desperate need. From South Asia, across the massive Indian subcontinent, and throughout the closed nations of the Middle East, tens or even hundreds of thousands of persecuted Christians long for Bibles.
Please join the WJTL community and Bible League International in a special effort to rush God’s Word to some of the most spiritually hungry parts of the world. Your tax-deductible gift to the “Bibles Behind the Lines” campaign will change lives, one Bible at a time.
Because of a special “Bibles Behind the Lines” campaign challenge grant, every $5 you give sends two Bibles. A gift of $50 sends 20 Bibles. $100 sends 40. A generous gift of $500 sends an amazing 200 Bibles to believers “behind the lines.” We are hoping the WJTL community can work together to provide 3600 Bibles before May 19th.
To join the effort, you can click here or call 1-800-YES-WORD
Persecuted Christians from the Middle East to South Asia need your prayers, and they need Bibles! When you join Bible League and WJTL in this vital effort, your gift will rush Bibles where they are needed most!
You can join the WJTL Road Crew as we broadcast live from the 11th annual Journey with Jesus on Saturday, December 8th from 6-8pm. Journey with Jesus is a walk through nativity depicting key scenes from the life of Jesus. It includes dozens of actors & lots of live animals. It’s a fun way to your family focused on the reason for the season.
Journey with Jesus will also be open on Saturday, December 15th from 6-8pm. It all happens at Ed’s Landscaping in Elizabethtown. Ed’s Landscaping is located at 2623 North Market Street in Elizabethtown. Look for the star about 2 miles west of the square. For more information, please call Ed’s Landscaping 717 367-1006
We hope to see you there!

Real News of Inspiration
Admin : February 5, 2012 8:27 pm : John Staffieri, Staff Pages, UncategorizedHerb Suereth — This week’s Real News of Inspiration comes from AdoptionJourney.com
What does adoption have to do with a football game halftime? Tony Dungee, 2007 coach of the Superbowl winning Indianapolis Colts, and his wife Lauren came together with AdoptionJourney.org and offered a halftime alternative. It is a video, available to download, that discussed different aspects of adoption including peer couples that have been through adoption, stories featuring families and leaders involved with adoption initiatives, interactive maps that highlight global adoption needs and biblical references related to adoption. To download the video or for more information, visit adoptionjourney.org.
Donut Delivery – Summer’s Trucking
John Staffieri : January 18, 2012 11:19 am : John Staffieri, UncategorizedWe had a great time making an Office Hero out of Dave Yerger this morning. Dave has worked at Summer’s Trucking in Ephrata for 38 years! Dave went the extra mile with his Donut Delivery entry. He included poetry! Send me an email if you would like to be an office hero. Just let me know where you work & how many folks you work with. Poetry is wonderful, but not necessary! Send it to donuts@wjtl.com.
Here is Dave’s tribute to the Donut Delivery:
your donut party sounds just great,
we’re 15 including me,
and while we sip and chew and dunk,
we’ll be listening to 90.3
you had a great Idea,
and we can’t wait to do our part,
eating round pastry with a center hole,
will give our day a real good start
so there’s my case why we should win it,
no hard feelings if we don’t,
we’ll miss the treat and recognition,
but those extra calories we won’t.
Congratulations to the Grand Prize Winners in our “Dashing Through The Songs” contest!
Albert Hoffman from Dillsburg
Ann Fisher from Manheim

They have each won Christmas music from WJTL, and gift cards to Ken’s Gardens, & $500 gift cards to Rockvale Outlets in Lancaster.
