COBYS Family Services Offers Information Sessions for Foster/Adoptive Parents

Have you been thinking about becoming a foster parent? Positively changing the life of a child and their family? If so, please contact COBYS Family Services to learn more about foster care in Lancaster and nearby communities and how you could provide a safe and loving home for children who need them.
Your first step is to contact COBYS to receive details about our foster care and adoption services, followed by attending a newly designed two-part information session with a pre-recorded webinar followed by live content. We offer convenient options for in-person and virtual gatherings.
Our information sessions provide an introduction to the roles, expectations, and approval process for COBYS resource families. Questions are encouraged as you discern if foster care and adoption through foster care is right for you. The sessions are free and place no obligation on those attending. The next 1.5 hour, live information session is scheduled for: Tuesday, January 3rd, 2022 (held virtually) or Tuesday, January 17th, 2022 (held in-person). These sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. We also offer a daytime virtual session on January 11th, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. All in-person sessions are held at the COBYS Murry Hill Center office, 444 Murry Hill Circle, Lancaster 17601.
