Free Oral, Head, and Neck Cancer Screenings

Penn State Health will offer free oral, head, and neck cancer screenings, performed by physicians in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. The screenings will take place on May 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Penn State Health Lime Spring Outpatient Center at 2221 Noll Drive (First Floor) in Lancaster.

You may be a candidate for a screening if you:
• Smoke, vape, or chew tobacco or betel nut products
• Have a sore in your mouth
• Have had a sore throat that lasted more than two weeks
• Have had a hoarse voice for more than two to three weeks
• Have trouble swallowing or feel like something is stuck in your throat
• Have a painless growth or swelling in your neck
• Have persistent ear pain.
