Fred & I had an amazing time with Compassion International in Guatemala with our sponsored girls. It was fun to visit the zoo with our girls and meet their moms and visit their homes. But it’s always good be home and I’m excited to be back in the KCB host seat this weekend as we welcome Lisa Sanchez (Park Naturalist) of Lancaster County Parks & Recreation. Lancaster County Dept. of Parks and Recreation has a fabulous environmental education team with affordable family fun activities. Fred & I are jumping on a plane Saturday and flying to Guatemala with Compassion International. LISA~ Get set for a fun & live music filled KCB this weekend. Encore! Home School Productions is performing, “Disney’s Beauty & the Beast”. Belle, Beast, Gaston, Lafue, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Babette and the Wardrobe are all visiting the studio between 10 & 11am this weekend for the 10 0’clock theme party. Encore Home School Productions formed in 2001 with a cast and crew of over 60 homeschooled or cyberschooled students. Encore! not only provides dramatic and choral opportunities for students, but also use public performances as a vehicle to promote community involvement and understanding about homeschooling in our region. The South Central PA home school community is among the largest in the nation.
