We dig in the dirt Saturday with a “Radio Field Trip” to Ken’s Gardens

April 7th, 2017

LISA LANDIS~  It’s April.  Time to get our garden ready 🙂  This weekend we are taking a “Radio Field Trip” together to Ken’s Gardens in Ronks/Intercourse, PA.  Kids, maybe this is the year you start your very own garden!  The Ken’s staff has tips on growing your own food.  It’s still not safe to plant all of your seeds in the dirt.  Details from 10-11am Saturday on what to plant now and what to plant next month.  You can enjoy KCB “Radio Field Trips” from your car, home, or where ever Saturday morning takes you.  Visit kensgardens.com for all you need to know for the 2017 gardening/planting season.

The first KCB “Pop Up Party” of the season is coming up Saturday, April 22, 2017.  Visit recycleyourmetal.com for details on Earth Day at Sahd Metal Recycling in Columbia, PA.

Listen tomorrow to request your favorite song from 11-noon, plus, chances to win Slugs & Bugs Cds all morning long.

Love & Cookies,

Lisa Landis

    Hi,
Is Ken’s Garden’s the location for Saturday, April 15 or was that last week Saturday? We are visiting this area and would love to be able to be at Kids’ Cookie Break’s location this Saturday. If it’s not at Ken’s Gardens, where will you be broadcasting from? Thanks very much!

Hello! Yes, Ken’s Gardens was last week. We will not be live on location this Saturday I am sorry to say. You can call the studio at (717)392-3690 between 10:30am & 11:45am to request a song.
KCB is hosing live on location “Pop Up Parties” most Saturdays April 22 into late July. Visit the calendar tab here at the website for more information. April 22 we are at Sahd Metal Recycling for their big Earth Day celebration with free family fun for families. Sounds like you just in town this weekend.
      Sorry!
      We will miss you.

Thanks for your response. We’ll be back in the area the first Saturday of August. If you have a live on location broadcast that Saturday (August 5), we would love to be there.
Blessings to you on this Good Friday/Easter weekend!
