KRISTI LEIGH — This Sunday’s Praise & Worship Show is the Hymns Edition! I love that hymns have been around for so long, that they’ve been so important for so many individual people, generations, congregations and moments in history–and i so appreciate that artists continue to reinvent them. Sunday’s show isn’t going to be boring–in fact, the songs on my playlist are full of life and such rich lyrics! So join me for the Praise & Worship Show from 6-9 this Sunday morning. “Amazing Grace” is my favorite-14 years ago on Mother’s Day, my daughter Patti requested that hymn in church, and just a few short weeks later her life on this earth was over. When I was going through the things in her room, I came across the words of that hymn that she had written. Every time I hear that song, I’m reminded how much that meant to her, and I am comforted.
