Keith Green – 28, 28, 28
July 28th, 2010
FRED MCNAUGHTON – 28 years ago, on July 28, 1982, Keith Green went home to be with the Lord. He was 28 years old. Keith was killed in a tragic airplane crash in 1982 along with two of his children, the Smalley family and pilot, Don Burmeister. Tonite at 7:30pm you can experience Keith Green in concert by visiting his website.
Praise God for the life of Keith Green. His music had a raw passion for God, that has encouraged and inspired me through the years.
I did not know that he died when he was 28 nor that it was 28 years ago.
Thank you WJTL for your ministry through sharing passion for God through music.
I so appreciated the ministry of Keith Green. He was so concerned that his life and ministry pointed to our Savior rather than himself. His passion for God has inspired me in the ministry God has given me. Thank you Fred for bringing this reminder of his life and ministry to us.
Thanks Tom and Bob. We appreciate hearing your thoughts. Thanks for listening.
I really love Keith Green’s music!
I was really blessed to hear his music on your station today, cause Keith green is someone who really impacted me and my familys life through his music and his book/testimony.
His piano playing is annointed even to this day 28 years later:-) He was so humble and he always wanted to direct the credit for his giftings to the Lord which hasd been an example to me in my relationship with the Lord. I wish I could play like him too!:-)
Anyway thankyou for playing his music, it has really encouraged me today!
His music still challenges me! Thanks for the reminder.
I was in church when the show was on and since I was only a baby when he died I don’t know his music. Can someone tell me where I can listen?
Hey Joshua,
You can still watch it at http://keithgreen.com

When I first came to God about 20 years ago, Keith Green was one of the first Christian musicians I heard. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! LOL He blessed me then, and still is now….thanks for sharing this
