New Tunes at 9 Roundup: Among the Thirsty

May 29th, 2014

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) The band Among the Thirsty is working on the August release of their next studio project, “Who You Say I Am.”

Among the Thirsty is best known for their 2009 radio hit, “I’d Need a Savior,” a song found on the project, “Wonder.” Among the Thirsty is led by lead singer, Ryan Daniel. The new single, “What Love Looks Like” includes these lyrics: “And now I’m learning how you love me. What it looks like in my life. You changed everything around me and inside.”

Ryan Daniel explained the story behind the song on New Tunes at 9 (and you can listen to the conversation here: https://wjtl.com/listen/wjtl-casts/)
