New Tunes at 9 Roundup: Fellowship Creative

June 6th, 2013

RADIO FRIEND PHIL – Greetings! It’s time for this week’s New Tunes at 9 Roundup. (New Tunes at 9, one-hour of new and emerging music, weeknights at 9 p.m. on WJTL.) Worship music is alive and well! Bands like Bellarive, Tim Timmons, Citizens and others are leading the way and pushing musical boundaries. Fellowship Creative is another group of artists dedicated to pursuing their craft, and in the process, forging their own identity. Fellowship Creative is comprised of members of the Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas. The band states, “Creativity has been around from the very beginning. We believe we were made in God’s image-the ultimate creator. Therefore, we are creative beings. So the question isn’t ‘if’ we are creative, but how we use our inherent creativity.” To that end, Fellowship Creative presents itself as a multimedia voice for the Christian arts: audio, visual, dance, design and more. Fellowship Creative has released five projects to date. The latest disc, “Always Been About You,” includes 12 tracks, available at their homepage, http://fellowshipcreative.com/. While you’re there, you’ll also find the band’s facebook and you-tube pages, twitter and more.
