Thank You Survey Takers

November 1st, 2010

FRED MCNAUGHTON – Thank you for taking the WJTL Survey.  We appreciate all your feedback, good and bad.  We want to know what you think so we can be a better radio station. Your ideas will make us better able to meet the needs of our listeners.  Now we’re working harder than a day-before-election day pollster to mine the data, understand the input, and move forward in our goal of being YOUR radio station.

Thanks again for your valuable time and input. Thanks too for listening, encouraging, and supporting WJTL!

I appreciate your goal and understand your heart to be OUR radio station, but please consider again your mission to essentially be GOD’S radio station for OUR encouragement and instruction that is also a light to the world that leads others to Christ. My personal draw to WJTL has been that you have not watered-down your God-glorifying mission.

Again, I believe I understand that WJTL’s Passion is still focused on the glory of God, but I have seen too many stations lose that passion to idols of being “uplifting and encouraging,” “Family-friendly,” or “Positive Hits.” None of those are bad, but if they overstep the prime focus of glorifying God, the goal will ultimately fail.

Thank you for being a Decidedly and Distinctly Christian Station.

Thanks for your comment Josh! We definitely purpose to be a station that is distinctly Christ focused… Our fairly recent slogan “Christ. Community. Music” was intentional as we seek to keep things in the right order and perspective. This will remain so as we consider people’s ideas and feedback. 🙂

I listen to you on line [I live in Wilmore KY near Lexington] and like you just as you are. We have both Air-1 and KLove available to listen to over the air, which I do in the car. But I more enjoy the music, ministry & variety of WJTL, so it is my choice at home. It is more ministry oriented. I love Terry Phillips oldies show, and the Noon hour oldies. Most other stations just drop the oldies, and never mention them again. It is like Petra, Keith Green, Fireworks, Servant and others who really minister never existed. You keep us aware of our heritage.
Thanks for a great station that serves God.
