WJTL’s “Backpack To School Contest”!
It’s almost Back To School Time! Over the next few weeks, families all over the listening area will be heading out on Back To School shopping trips. We’re inviting you to nominate a family that you know who could really use some help this year. It’s WJTL’s “Backpack To School” contest, underwritten by 1-800-GOT-JUNK! (They offer full-service junk removal for your home or business. Click here for their website!)
HOW TO ENTER:
Email SchoolContest@WJTL.com and tell us your name and address. Also include the name, kids’ ages or grades, city and phone number or email address of the family you would like to nominate for our contest. Entries must be received by Noon on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.
We’ll choose winers randomly and announce them Fridays on the Get Up & Go Show throughout the month of August. (Winners will be contacted before their name is mentioned on the radio.) Each winner will receive a backpack with some school supplies and a $200 Visa giftcard to help with Back To School expenses.

Is the entire family picked at random, or are each of the children’s names entered separately? I would like to nominate a family with five children, but if only one out of the five would win the others would be pretty bummed.
Thanks for your question, Jes! Please nominate the entire family and include all the kids’ names. While only one backpack would go to the family, there would be other supplies inside it and the Visa card, too, which all could be shared among all the kids. (And yes, all email entries that meet all of our qualifications are put into a random drawing.)
