SUMMARY:Movie in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy our final movie in the park for 2025. We will be showing the movie Fly Away Home\, a story about a 13-year-old girl named Amy who\, after her mother’s death\, moves to Canada to live with her estranged inventor father\, Thomas. Amy finds purpose in caring for abandoned goose eggs\, becoming the surrogate mother to the hatched goslings. When the geese are at risk of having their wings clipped\, she and her father build ultralight aircraft to teach the birds to fly and lead them on a migration from Canada to North Carolina. Movie begins at Dusk. Bring a blanket or a chair and join us in Broad St Park in Akron. In the event of inclement weather\, the movie will be moved to Cultivate Community Church\, 650 Main St. Akron\, PA 17501.
