COBYS Family Services 2023 Bike & Hike

COBYS Family Services annual fundraising event features a walk through Lititz, plus bicycle and motorcycle rides and an Incredible Ice Cream Celebration.

The 27th annual Bike & Hike will be held at the Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 West Orange Street, Lititz, PA 17543. The signature components of the gathering are a three-mile walk through Lititz, a 10- or 25-mile bicycle ride and a 65-mile motorcycle ride. All events end back at the church for the Incredible Ice Cream Celebration. First time and veteran participants are encouraged to join.

Bike & Hike is a great way for individuals and families or other groups to support vulnerable children and families in our community while enjoying the fresh air and tasty treats. As part of Bike & Hike, COBYS has launched the Kickstart Fund again this year. The goal is to raise $25,000 before September 10 and raise awareness of the services COBYS provides. For those who are not able to bike or hike, they are encouraged to join COBYS for its Incredible Ice Cream Celebration or make a donation to support the foster care, adoption, counseling and family life education related services provided by the human services organization.

Additionally, this year is the last Bike & Hike for long-time COBYS Executive Director Mark Cunningham in that role, as he is retiring at the end of the year. Mark has decided to lead the walk this year and encourages sponsorship for his participation.
