Folk singer/songwriter Mike Herz at Emmaus Road Cafe in Lancaster on Sat. March 3rd.  Doors at 7:00pm, and the show begins at 7:30pm  With an uncanny ability to turn a phrase and pen lyrics that rattle around in your head, Mike Herz writes and performs in a style that is all his own.  An aspiring poet long before picking up a guitar, Herz quickly came to the realization that his words could enter more ears if put to a tune.  His debut album “Overgrown” was released in 2013, duo album “Closer to Home” in 2015 and his follow up solo album “The Acrobat” was released in January 2017.

Folk duo SweetLife at Emmaus Road Cafe in Lancaster on Feb. 3rd.  Doors open at 7:00pm, and the music starts at 7:30pm. For over 25 years, Matt & Carol Frigm, known as SweetLife, have entertained audiences with their songs about life & love. They blend sweet harmonies and soft rock, modern country, and smooth jazz guitar into a unique acoustic pop style – with lyrics that celebrate gaining and keeping healthy, happy relationships.

 

They regularly lead worship at New Path Community Church and have performed, spoken, and facilitated addiction recovery groups, retreats, and outreach events for youth ministries YAF Fishnet and YoungLife.  http://www.sweetlifemusic.com/.
