KRISTI LEIGH – In the past year or so, WJTL added a couple of worship leaders to our library: Sean Feucht and Kristene Mueller. Both have been amazingly active with their worship outside of the studio and off the church stage. And both are in town this weekend along with Rick Pino and Leonard Jones!
And by the way, Sean is releasing a new project this weekend! It’s called “Your Presence Is Enough.” Listen to my interview with him here: http://wjtl.com/listen/wjtl-casts/ Check out this video for the title track, which was also on his 2009 project “Rebirth And Reclamation.”
And I think you’ll understand why I’m so excited about Kristene Mueller when you check out her CD “Those Who Dream.” (It’s on iTunes!) And here’s a video where you can really get to know her better:

KRISTI LEIGH – You may have heard it said: “when God closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.” And I found one! Let me explain…
Delirious has said “Farewell.” They’ve had their final Live Show in London and tomorrow they release the 2 CD set from that concert. I must admit–I’m sad to say goodbye! It was sad when Audio Adrenaline said “Adios,” and I don’t like saying “Farewell” to Delirious very much either! I was a fan all throughout their musical careers and they left off on such a high note that I wasn’t ready to stop hearing new music! I know they’re all on to other good things and that their final chapters ended well. But I loved their music and will miss them!
So, when I saw that tomorrow’s CD releases also included “ReUnite” from the O.C. Supertones, I knew that was my window of comfort! Now don’t get too excited! This window isn’t open permanently. They’re releasing their best-of project tomorrow and doing their final tour this summer. And then I guess we’ll have to say our final sayonara. But who knows! Maybe another window will open! Let’s keep each other posted!
Comment and let me know your all-time favorite Delirious or O.C. Supertones song!

KRISTI LEIGH – 27 year old Phoenix based artist Audrey Assad just signed to Sparrow Records. Bloggers say she has one of the most interestingly unique voices. She has already written songs for and sung on projects with the likes of Brandon Heath, Jars of Clay, Chris Tomlin and Jonny Diaz…to name a few. Her “For Love Of You” EP released digitally on iTunes last week and the title track single is getting fantastic support! The full length project (“The House You’re Building”) is set to release on July 13th.
Charlie from Jars of Clay had some very nice things to say about Audrey. Check out CCM’s write up with input from Charlie and others here: http://www.ccmmagazine.com/news/headlines/11631557/

KRISTI LEIGH -
One of my all-time favorite CCM bands, Jars of Clay, is on another water-themed mission. I’ve heard them share many times about getting drinking water to places where it doesn’t exist through Blood Water Mission. But this time, it’s quite the opposite. They’re raising money for flood relief for their own hometown of Nashville. Check out their letter to fans, video and the 5 versions of their hit song “Flood” on the cleverly titled “Flood(ed)” relief project at their website. http://www.jarsofclay.com/ Let me know which version is your favorite in the comments section below!

KRISTI LEIGH - Whenever somebody says something might be “the next big worship song for the church,” I get excited! After all, “How Great Is Our God”, “Awesome God” and “Revelation Song” all started out somewhere! So, when I saw the Worship Together Blog say “Ben Cantelon’s “Saviour Of The World” is going to be a huge song for the church” and that it’s “probably the best new undiscovered worship song right now,” I had to check it out and share it with you! Ben is a Canadian worship leader and songwriter on Survivor Records. You can check out his myspace page to listen to his music, which is available on iTunes!
Take and listen to the song and comment below to let me know what you think! Does it stir your heart? Would your church or youth group sing it? And if you know of another worship song under the radar with great potential, let me know!

KRISTI LEIGH – I was catching up on some blogs I subscribe to, when I came across this one from Bob Kauflin (GLAD member and Sovereign Grace worship leader.) His blog is “Worship Matters.” http://www.worshipmatters.com/
Bob writes about how he was watching a You Tube video of an animation to the Sovereign Grace song “Prodigal” from “Sons & Daughters”–and how capitivated and unexpectedly moved he was by it. And of course I was interested–he was speaking my language: worship and cartoons! Well, not really typical cartoons…it’s more artistic than that; but still, great combo! However, as I read on, I realized even more personal connections. The animation was done by Chris Powers, who recently graduated from Cedarville University, of which I am a proud alumnus! Way to go, Mr. Powers! The song alone is beautiful; full of restoration and redemption. The video just takes it all to a new level! This animation is really powerful!

I saw this commercial on TV last night that invites you to be a part of the “I Am Not Ashamed” campaign for the first online video Bible, where you can post your favorite passage! Pretty cool! Check out http://iamnotashamed.org/ to get involved!
I just read the latest blog from John Mark McMillan (original writer of the big hit song “How He Loves”) about one of the most interesting bands in worship today. I was thrilled that it was Gungor! (Formerly called the Michael Gungor Band.) I’ve been so into their latest project ever since it released, and to see that they’re getting some support is really nice. In fact, support is putting it gently, they’re touring with John Mark McMillan!
Here’s a video to introduce you to Gungor:

I just wrapped up a live phone interview with John Reilly! (It’s at the WJTL Casts page if you want to hear it!) He’s the front man for violin rock band, Reilly. He just got married to Bonnie and they, and everyone else in the band, have been traveling the globe. But it won’t end any time soon. They have lots of shows coming up all over the place. Be sure to check out their schedule and see when you can get to a Reilly concert to see those dueling violins! Check out http://www.reillytheband.com/ And enjoy all the artwork! I had no idea (until today) that band member Matthew was responsible for all of it!
Reilly has new music on the way June 8th! Get details on the release concert on June 11th and pre-order at their website!
Today I was planning for next Sunday’s Praise & Worship Show, where the music is themed around worship leaders from all over the globe, and I saw something that caught my eye at Brooke Fraser’s website. It’s a new release! It’s called “What To Do With Daylight (Abridged).” It’s a re-release of her 2003 project of the same name, with a revised track listing (edited by Brooke herself!) and new album artwork, exclusive to this release. It’s cool! And yes, there are limited numbers available.
Check out her website for more info: http://www.brookefraser.com/
