friends always make music more fun
ASHLEA BRENEMAN – In my opinion, friends always make music more fun. It’s better to play with other people and it’s more fun to sing loud in the car when others are joining in with you. Apparently, Jars of Clay shares my belief. On October 5th, Jars will release Jars of Clay Presents The Shelter. This album dwells on the idea of community – both physical and spiritual. What better way to achieve that then to have all of your friends join in during the songwriting and recording process? Jars of Clay rounded up a ton of their friends to make one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Check out the track listing for the new album… take notice that there is only one song that doesn’t have a guest vocalist!
That is quite the impressive line-up to an already incredibly talented group of guys. Their hope with the new album is to give new songs to the church. Hopefully your church will be adding some of these songs into their normal repertoire soon! If you’d like to listen to clips of all of the songs, head over to Jesusfreakhideout to hear the great music coming out October 5th!
Jars of Clay will be stopping in the Lancaster area with Brandon Heath on Friday, October 8th.
